Jul 24, 2007 — Darrin Thomas Griffitts was arrested for domestic violence with minor injury, a felony, after a fight with his wife. Reported at 9:25 a.m.. BLOTTER:
Jewelry valued at $12,705 was stolen from Adam Neeley Designs at 4:17 a.m. last Thursday. The front door of the business on the 300 block of North Coast Highway had been forced open, and the jewelry stolen out of smashed cases. The case is under investigation with no known suspects.
SATURDAY, JULY 14
Arrest, Glenneyre Street and Mountain Road.Scott Arnold Johnson was arrested for driving under the influence. Reported at 2:27 a.m.
Vandalism, Thalia Street, 200 block.A public works employee reported half of a brick thrown through a window at Laguna Cyclery overnight. No theft was reported. Reported at 6:45 a.m.
Vandalism, Heisler Park.A city employee reported damage to the south wall of the north set of bathrooms, causing the brick veneer to separate from concrete wall. Reported at 6:48 a.m.
Grand theft, Circle Way and Cliff Drive.A man reported wallet, cell phone and iPod, valued at $552, stolen from his vehicle on July 6. The car was unlocked. His identity had since been used to open a Sprint cell phone account. Reported at 4:28 p.m.
Citation, Main Beach.Douglas Eric Haeussler was cited driving on the beach.
SUNDAY, JULY 15
Arrest, Coast Hwy., 31800 block.Kourosh Nayyeri was arrested for disorderly conduct with alcohol. Reported at 1:39 a.m.
Arrest, Coast and Laguna. Brittany Elise Flowers was arrested for driving under the influence. Reported at 3:40 a.m.
Arrest, Crescent Bay Beach.John Joseph Walker, a transient, was arrested on four warrants for drinking in public after being found camping on the beach. Bail was $22,500. Reported at 11:48 a.m.
Arrest, Cliff Drive, 200 block.James Louis Durand was arrested on an outstanding warrant for domestic violence with minor injury, a felony. Bail was $15,000. Reported at 4:50 p.m.
Citation, Main Beach.Kyle Branden Terry Roberts was cited for driving on the beach.
MONDAY, JULY 16
Arrest, Blue Lagoon and Coast Hwy.Reza Madany was arrested for driving under the influence. Reported at 1:52 a.m.
Burglary, S. Coast Hwy., 600 block.A flat screen television valued at $3,343 was taken from En Vogue Salon. The salon’s window was smashed. Reported at 4:58 a.m.
Arrest, N. Coast Hwy. and Boat Canyon Drive.Mark Campbell Meyer was arrested for driving under the influence. Reported at 4:03 a.m.
Arrest, Fairview Street, 200 block.Dillion Bolton was arrested for disorderly conduct with alcohol. Bolton was found passed out on a sidewalk. Bail was $500. Reported at 6:57 p.m.
Fraud report, Sunset Ridge Drive, 1600 block.A man said someone had used his ID to get a credit card on July 5.
TUESDAY, JULY 17
Arrest, S. Coast Hwy., 1100 block.Alana Mcguire Braun was arrested for display or possession of a fake ID card at the Sandpiper Bar. She was taken into custody for being drunk in public. Bail was $500. Reported at 1:36 a.m.

Arrest, N. Coast Hwy., 1300 block.Charles Reginald Conwell was arrested for disorderly conduct with alcohol after yelling at people from the roadway. Conwell was also cited for damaging plants at Monument Point. Bail was $500. Reported at 9:40 a.m.
Arrest, Catalina Avenue and Monterey Street.Gerald Cameron Hoy was arrested for battery against a police officer. Hoy kicked a police officer in the arm, spit and yelled from within the police car after he was picked up for sleeping in the park. Bail was $20,000. Reported at 11:45 a.m.
WEDNESDAY, JULY 18
Arrest, Glenneyre Street, 300 block.George H. Reasons was arrested on a warrant for disorderly conduct after being found sleeping outside the library. Bail was $500. Reported at 7:36 a.m.
Arrest, Temple Hills Drive, 800 block.Juan Carlos Noriega, an unlicensed driver, was arrested for outside warrant for driving on a suspended license after a non-injury car accident. Bail was $10,000. Reported at 12:23 p.m.
THURSDAY, JULY 19
Grand theft, S. Coast Hwy., 500 block.A woman said her purse was stolen from a gift table at her wedding at Village Laguna on July 6. The loss was estimated at $995. Reported at 11:30 a.m.
Arrest, N. Coast Hwy. and Broadway Place.Matthew Peter Rogers was arrested for disorderly conduct with alcohol. Reported at 8:21 p.m.
FRIDAY, JULY 20
Arrest, Coast Hwy. and Vista del Sol.Gregory Tyler Morrison was arrested for driving under the influence. Reported at 1:55 a.m.
Vandalism, Milligan Drive, 100 block. A man reported the rear hatchback window of his 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse shattered overnight. Nothing was missing from the vehicle, and its doors were locked. The damage was estimated at $400. Reported at 9:02 a.m.
Arrest, Coast and Monarch Bay.Catherine Renee Thomason was arrested for driving under the influence. Reported at 11:58 p.m.

Citation, Heisler Park.Glenn Ernest Matthews, 58, and Howard Lile Emerson, 83, were cited for nudity. Reported at 12:30 a.m.
Arrest, Arroyo Chico, 400 block.Jason Kelly Thomas was arrested for disorderly conduct with alcohol. Reported at 3:47 a.m.
Arrest, Broadway Street, 300 block.Luis Facio-contreras was arrested for driving with a fake license. He was reported by a private investigator. An immigration hold was placed on him. Reported at 11:49 a.m.
